# BugHerd integration

> Visual bug tracking and website feedback: projects, tasks, columns, comments, attachments and webhooks.

## Tools (40)

- **Add Guest to Project**: Adds a guest to a project by existing user or by emailing an invitation.
- **Add Member to Project**: Adds existing organization members to a project.
- **Create Attachment (from URL)**: Attaches a file by public URL; BugHerd downloads and stores a copy. For local files use Upload Attachment.
- **Create Column**: Creates a custom column at the end of the board.
- **Create Comment**: Adds a comment to a task, attributed by `user_id` or `email`.
- **Create Project**: Creates a project with no members or guests; add them with the Add Member and Add Guest operations.
- **Create Task**: Creates a task. Omitting `status` (or null) sends it to the Feedback panel.
- **Create Webhook**: Subscribes `target_url` to one event; BugHerd POSTs the payload there. Create one webhook per event. A `410 Gone` reply removes the webhook automatically.
- **Delete Attachment**: Permanently removes an attachment; cannot be undone.
- **Delete Column**: Permanently deletes a column; fails if it holds tasks or is the project's last column.
- **Delete Project**: Permanently deletes the project and all its data; cannot be undone.
- **Delete Task**: Permanently deletes the task; cannot be undone.
- **Delete Webhook**: Removes a webhook; events stop immediately.
- **List Active Projects**: Returns only active projects.
- **List Archived Tasks**: Returns closed or archived tasks no longer on the taskboard.
- **List Attachments**: Returns file attachments on a task.
- **List Columns**: Returns a project's built-in and custom kanban columns.
- **List Comments**: Returns all comments on a task.
- **List Feedback Tasks**: Returns tasks in the backlog (Feedback) column, i.e. unprocessed reports.
- **List Guests**: Returns guest users (external collaborators; the UI now calls them clients, the API is unchanged).
- **List Members**: Returns only team members (non-guests).
- **List Projects**: Returns all projects, active and inactive.
- **List Taskboard Tasks**: Returns all active (non-archived) tasks, as shown on the taskboard.
- **List Tasks**: Returns a project's tasks with optional filters.
- **List User Projects**: Returns projects a user belongs to.
- **List Users**: Returns all members and guests in the organization.
- **List User Tasks**: Returns tasks assigned to a user across all projects.
- **List Webhooks**: Returns the organization's webhooks with delivery stats and error details.
- **Move Tasks**: Moves tasks from this project to another. `task_ids` takes `local_task_id` values, not global ids.
- **Show Attachment**: Returns one attachment.
- **Show Column**: Returns one column.
- **Show Organization**: Returns your BugHerd organization name and id.
- **Show Project**: Returns one project with its members, guests and columns.
- **Show Task**: Returns full task detail including metadata, browser info and screenshot data.
- **Show Task by Local ID**: Returns a task by its project-scoped number (the `#42` shown in the UI).
- **Show Task (Global)**: Returns a task by global id when the project id is unknown.
- **Update Column**: Renames a custom column.
- **Update Project**: Updates project settings; send only the fields to change.
- **Update Task**: Updates a task; send only the fields to change. This is also how a task moves between columns.
- **Upload Attachment**: Uploads a local file with multipart form data. Request time is capped near 30 seconds; use the URL variant for larger files.
