# Google Calendar integration

> Calendar platform for managing events, attendees, calendars, and scheduling.

## Tools (23)

- **Add Calendar to List**: Inserts an existing calendar into the user's calendar list (subscribes to it).
- **Clear Primary Calendar**: Deletes ALL events from a primary calendar.
- **Create Calendar**: Creates a new secondary calendar.
- **Create Event**: Creates a new event on a specified calendar.
- **Delete Calendar**: Deletes a secondary calendar. Use calendars.clear to remove events from the primary calendar.
- **Delete Event**: Deletes an event from a calendar.
- **FreeBusy Query**: Returns free/busy information for a set of calendars within a time range.
- **Get Calendar List Entry**: Returns a specific calendar from the user's calendar list by calendar ID.
- **Get Calendar Metadata**: Returns metadata for a calendar (summary, description, timezone, location).
- **Get Colors**: Returns the color definitions for calendars and events.
- **Get Event**: Returns a single event by ID from a specified calendar.
- **Get Setting**: Returns a single user setting by its ID.
- **Import Event**: Imports an event by iCalUID, adding a private copy to the calendar without organizer notifications.
- **List Calendars**: Returns the list of calendars on the authenticated user's calendar list.
- **List Event Instances**: Returns instances of a recurring event within an optional time range.
- **List Events**: Returns events from a specified calendar with filtering, search, and pagination support.
- **List Settings**: Returns all user settings for the authenticated user.
- **Move Event**: Moves an event from one calendar to another.
- **Patch Event (Partial Update)**: Partially updates an event. Only specified fields are modified; other fields remain unchanged.
- **Quick Add Event**: Creates an event from a natural language text string (e.g. "Lunch with Bob tomorrow at noon").
- **Remove Calendar from List**: Removes a calendar from the user's calendar list (unsubscribes).
- **Update Calendar**: Updates a calendar's metadata (full replace). Use PATCH for partial updates.
- **Update Event (Full Replace)**: Replaces an entire event resource. All writable fields must be included or they will be cleared.

## Triggers (3)

- **New Event in Calendar**: Triggers when a new event is created on a Google Calendar
- **Event Updated on Calendar**: Triggers when an existing event is modified (title, time, attendees, etc.). Each modification fires once.
- **Event Cancelled on Calendar**: Triggers when an event is cancelled (deleted). Note: cancelled events may have minimal data, so most filters except keywords/title may not match.
