# Telegram (User Account / MTProto) integration

> Full user-account access to Telegram via MTProto — list every chat, read complete history, send messages and media as the user, manage contacts.

- **Delete Messages**: Delete one or more messages from a chat, optionally on both sides for DMs.
- **Edit Message**: Edit the text, caption, or media of a message the user previously sent.
- **Forward Messages**: Forward one or more messages from one chat to another, preserving sender attribution.
- **Get Channel Participants**: List members of a channel, supergroup, or group.
- **Get Chat History**: Fetch the complete message history of a chat, paginated newest-first.
- **Get Contacts**: List every contact in the user's Telegram address book.
- **Get Messages by IDs**: Fetch specific messages by their numeric IDs in a chat.
- **Get Self**: Fetch the currently authenticated user — identity, username, phone, premium status.
- **List Dialogs**: List every chat the user is in — DMs, groups, supergroups, and channels.
- **Listen for New Messages**: Subscribe to a real-time stream of new messages (and other updates) via event handlers.
- **Mark History Read**: Mark messages in a chat as read up to a given message ID.
- **Search Messages Globally**: Search across all of the user's chats for messages matching a query.
- **Send Media**: Send a photo, document, video, audio, or any file as the user.
- **Send Message**: Send a text message as the user to any chat the user has access to.
