# Onboarding interview that teaches agents your company

> New workspaces start with a short interview that writes shared and personal context, so every agent knows your company, your role, and your style.

Agents now carry what they know about you from one conversation to the next. Context holds two sets of files: workspace context every member shares, and personal context only you can see. On April 25 we made filling it in the first thing a new workspace does.

### The setup interview

- **Workspace interview.** It asks what the workspace is for, looks up public information like your website, product, and brand so you don't retype it, and plays back what it found for you to correct. It writes a General profile and, when there's a visual identity, a Design file that agents use for PDFs, decks, and emails.
- **Personal interview.** After you connect your integrations, it reads a snapshot of each account (Slack channels, Linear teams, GitHub repos, Gmail labels), asks about your role and working style, and writes your profile.
- **Free during onboarding.** Later updates from the Context page bill like any other run.

### How agents use context

Every agent run gets an index of context files with a one-line description each. Agents always read the General profiles and open other files only when a task needs them. Agents write to context when you ask them to remember something, and only Admins and Owners can change workspace context.
