# Self-serve account deletion on web and iPhone

> Delete your General Input account yourself from the dashboard or iPhone app, choosing who takes over your work in each workspace first.

You can now delete your own General Input account, from the dashboard or the [iPhone app](/mobile), without contacting support. Before anything is removed, you see every workspace you belong to and everything you own in each one, and you decide what happens to it.

### How it works

- **A full inventory.** Settings lists each workspace and what you own there: specialists, workflows, apps, skills, connections, databases, file stores, and browsers.
- **Choose a successor, or delete.** For each shared workspace, pick who owns your work after you, or delete it all. If you're the workspace's owner, you also pick its next owner.
- **Solo workspaces go with you.** A workspace where you're the only member is deleted with your account and erased within 30 days.
- **Preview first.** You see everything affected before confirming, and nothing is removed until you do.
- **Leave without deleting.** Leaving a single workspace offers the same choices for that workspace while keeping your account.

To remove an entire workspace instead, see [workspace deletion](/changelog/2026-08-05-workspace-deletion).
