# Business plans now start at one seat

> The five-seat minimum on Business Pro and Max is gone. Buy seats for exactly the members you have, from one to 50, with prorated additions.

The Business plan used to require at least five seats, so a team of two paid for five. That minimum is gone. Choose a seat count starting from one, and each seat adds its credits to the workspace's monthly allowance plus a spot for one member. See plans on the [pricing page](/pricing).

- **Pro:** $30 per seat per month, with 4,800 credits per seat.
- **Max:** $100 per seat per month, with 16,000 credits per seat.

Both tiers cover up to 50 members, and seats added later are prorated.

### How it works

- **One upgrade screen.** Choosing a plan moved out of onboarding into a dedicated upgrade screen with a seat picker that prices each plan at the count you choose. The public pricing page renders the same plan cards.
- **Onboarding starts with credits.** The plan question became a welcome-credits step: a new workspace starts with credits to build and run with, and no card is needed.
- **One page when the balance runs out.** A workspace with nothing left to spend sees a single screen offering pay-as-you-go credits, a plan, or a call with us, then returns to where it was headed.
- **Billing on the web.** The iPhone app shows your plan and balance without asking you to pay; low-balance reminders go by email and Slack.
