# The side panel shows everything a specialist can reach

> Beside a conversation, the side panel now lists the specialist’s files, apps, workflows, skills, and connections, with the conversation’s own files beneath.

The panel on the right of a conversation used to list only what that one conversation had touched: the resources it built or mentioned, the files that came and went, and the services it called. Every conversation now belongs to a specialist, so the panel shows the specialist instead. Its top card lists everything the specialist can see, ready to open without leaving the chat, and a second card beneath keeps the files that came into and out of this conversation.

### How it works

- **The specialist’s card on top.** Files, Apps, Workflows, Skills, and Connections, each with its count, the same things the specialist’s page holds.
- **Open in place.** A file, app, workflow, or skill opens in the side panel beside the conversation, [where chat files already open](/changelog/2026-10-13-chat-files-in-side-panel). A connection opens its own settings page.
- **The conversation’s card beneath.** Inputs are the files you attached and Outputs the files the specialist sent back. The card appears once the conversation has its first message.
- **There from the start.** A new conversation shows the specialist’s card before you type, so you can see what it can work with before you ask.
- **Room for both.** When a specialist holds a lot, its card scrolls on its own and the conversation’s card stays in view.

### Also shipped

- **Runs list their own files.** The panel beside a workflow or app run now shows only that run’s Inputs and Outputs.
