# Auto only limits pickers to Auto, Fast, Balanced, and Max

> Admins can now limit every model picker in a workspace to Auto and its Fast, Balanced, and Max tiers, while Auto keeps choosing the models behind them.

Workspace admins can now turn on Auto only in Settings, under Models. With it on, every model picker in the workspace offers just Auto and its three tiers: Fast, Balanced, and Max. Members stop choosing between individual models and subscriptions, and every chat, workflow, and app runs on Auto. It is off by default, and turning it off brings the full list back. ### How it works

- **One switch for the whole workspace.** Only admins can change it. It applies to chats, specialists, workflow and app agents, and the workspace's default model, on the web and in the mobile app.
- **Earlier choices keep working.** A conversation or workflow set to a specific model before the switch runs on Auto from its next message or run. Nothing needs to be edited.
- **Auto still uses your subscriptions first.** Each tier tries the subscriptions connected to the workspace before General Input's hosted models, and only uses models the workspace has switched on.
- **The rest of the page still applies.** The model switches, custom models, and the utility model work as before, and they decide which models Auto can choose.
