# See every file your specialist can see

> A new Files view in the conversation sidebar shows the whole file system your specialist works in, from the files it makes to its memory and skills.

You can now look inside the computer your specialist is working on. Open the Files tab in a conversation's sidebar and you get the same file system the specialist sees: what it has made so far, the memory it reads, its skills, its fellow specialists' files, and everything uploaded to the conversation. Open any file to preview it beside the conversation.

### How it works

- **The specialist's own folder.** `work` holds what it writes, read from its running sandbox, so you see files as they are made, even from a background command with nobody talking to it.
- **Everything else it reads.** `memory`, `specialists`, `skills`, and `uploads` show on the same paths the specialist uses, so when it mentions a file you can find it.
- **Only what you can already reach.** The list is read with your own access, and folders load as you open them.
- **Conversations and editing chats.** Files appears in the web dashboard on both.
- **A browser tab of its own.** The sidebar's Browser tab is where you watch your specialist use the web, and it opens by itself when a browser starts.
- **Room for long names.** Drag the edge of a conversation's sidebar, or the main sidebar, to make either a little wider or narrower. Your size is remembered.
