# Turn every beehiiv issue into a week of social posts

> When a new newsletter issue goes live, three different social posts get written and spaced across your publishing queue instead of all at once.

- Workflow type: agent
- Services: beehiiv, Sendible
- Categories: Marketing
- Published: 2026-08-09

## What it does

- Starts the moment a new newsletter issue is published, and skips subscriber-only issues that have no public web page to link to.
- Reads the full issue and pulls out three genuinely different angles: the strongest hook or statistic, a quotable line, and a curiosity-driven teaser.
- Checks how your issue link will actually look when shared, including the title, description, and preview image, and flags it when the image is missing so you can attach your own.
- Adds each post to your publishing queue so they spread out over several days, with every version tailored to the network it is going to.

## What you'll need

- A beehiiv account with a published newsletter
- A Sendible account with your social profiles already connected
- At least one publishing queue set up in Sendible

## Prompt

Run this whenever a new post is published in my beehiiv publication. Watch beehiiv for the new post event and start from the issue that just went live.

First, use the beehiiv Get Post operation on that post, with content expansion turned on, so you get the full body of the issue along with its public web URL. If the issue is subscriber-only and has no public web version, stop right there and do nothing. There is no point scheduling social posts that point at a paywall or a dead link.

Take the issue's public web URL and run it through the Sendible Get Link Preview operation. That tells me the exact title, description, and preview image the link will actually render with when it is shared. Report that title and description back to me. If the preview image is missing, say so clearly in the notes you leave for each scheduled post, so I know to attach my own image before it goes out.

Now read the issue body properly and pull out three genuinely different angles. The first is the strongest hook or statistic in the piece. The second is a quotable line, something that stands on its own when lifted out. The third is a curiosity-driven teaser that makes someone want to click without giving away the answer. These must not be three rewordings of the same sentence. If the issue honestly only supports two distinct angles, write two rather than padding it out.

Use the Sendible Get Social Profiles operation to see which profiles I have connected, and the Sendible Get Queues operation to find my publishing queue.

Then use the Sendible Schedule Message operation once per angle to add each one to the queue. Pass the queue id and do not set a fixed send date. That is what makes Sendible space the posts out across its queue slots over several days instead of firing all three in the same minute. Send each message to the profiles that match the network you wrote that version for.

Rules for the copy. Tailor every version to the network it is going to: keep the X version under 280 characters including the link, write the LinkedIn version as a slightly longer and more professional take, and keep Facebook and Instagram conversational. Always link back to the issue's public web URL. And never state a fact, number, statistic, or quote that is not actually in the newsletter. If you cannot point to the line in the issue that supports a claim, cut the claim.

When you are done, summarize what you scheduled: each angle and its copy, which profiles and queue it went to, the link preview title and description, and whether a preview image was present.

## How to customize

- Change how many angles get pulled from each issue, or swap in different ones such as a contrarian take or a list of key takeaways.
- Choose which connected profiles receive posts and which queue they go into.
- Adjust the tone for each network, or tighten the length limits if you want shorter posts everywhere.

## FAQ

### Will it publish posts without me seeing them first?

The posts are added to your Sendible queue rather than pushed out instantly, so there is a window before each slot comes up where you can review, edit, or delete any of them.

### What happens with subscriber-only issues?

They are skipped. If an issue has no public web version, there is no link worth sending people to, so nothing gets written or scheduled.

### Will all three posts go out at the same time?

No. Because they go into your queue rather than being pinned to one exact time, your queue spaces them across its posting slots over several days.

### Can it invent statistics about my newsletter?

No. It only uses facts, numbers, and quotes that actually appear in the issue it just read. Anything it cannot trace back to a line in the newsletter gets cut.

### Do I need a separate setup for each social network?

No. It works with whichever profiles you already have connected in Sendible, and writes a version tailored to each network it posts to.
