# Turn newly incorporated UK companies into HubSpot leads

> Each weekday morning, spot UK companies registered the day before in your target sectors, add the best fits to HubSpot, and recap them in Slack.

- Workflow type: agent
- Services: Companies House, HubSpot, Slack Bot
- Categories: Sales
- Published: 2026-07-17

## What it does

- Searches the UK company register every weekday morning for businesses incorporated the day before in the sectors you care about.
- Pulls each promising company's registered office address and director names so your CRM record is ready to work.
- Scores every match against your ideal-customer profile and skips anything that is a poor fit or already in HubSpot.
- Adds the best-fit new companies to HubSpot with their address and industry, attaches the director and incorporation details as a note, and posts the day's list to your sales channel in Slack.

## What you'll need

- A Companies House account (their company data is free to access).
- A HubSpot login where new companies and notes can be created.
- A Slack workspace with the bot added to your sales channel.
- A short list of the industry codes and locations that define your ideal customer.

## Prompt

Every weekday at 7am, find newly incorporated UK companies in my target sectors, turn the best-fit ones into fresh HubSpot prospects, and post a summary to my sales channel in Slack.

Start with the Companies House Advanced Company Search. Filter by my target SIC codes, set the incorporation date to the previous day, and optionally narrow by a location such as a region or postcode area. This returns the companies that were registered yesterday and fall inside the sectors I care about.

For each promising result, pull Get Company Profile to capture the registered office address and confirm the SIC codes and company status, and List Company Officers to capture the director names. Keep the list focused on genuine best-fit prospects rather than every new registration.

Score each company against a simple ideal-customer profile: the right sector (SIC code), an in-scope location, and any other signals I define such as company type. Only keep the good-fit matches and drop the rest.

Before creating anything, run HubSpot Search Companies to check whether the company already exists, matching on name and on domain when one is available. Skip any company that is already in the CRM. For each new good-fit match, use HubSpot Create Company to add the prospect with its name, registered office address, and industry. Then use Create Note attached to that company to record the director names and the incorporation context, including the company number, incorporation date, and SIC codes.

When the day's results are processed, post a summary to my sales channel with the Slack bot Send a Message. List the new prospects added today with their name, location, sector, and directors, and note how many new registrations were reviewed and how many were skipped as existing companies. If there were no good-fit new companies, post a short note saying so.

## How to customize

- Change the schedule, for example run it later in the morning or only on certain weekdays.
- Adjust which industry codes and locations count as a good fit, and tighten or loosen the scoring rules.
- Point the daily summary at a different Slack channel, or change what details each prospect line includes.

## FAQ

### Where does the company data come from?

From Companies House, the UK's official public register of companies. It lists every company incorporated in the UK, including the registered address, directors, and industry codes, and it is free to search.

### Will it add duplicate companies to HubSpot?

No. Before creating anything, it searches your existing HubSpot companies and skips any that are already there, so you only get genuinely new prospects.

### How does it decide which companies are worth adding?

You define a simple ideal-customer profile using industry codes and locations. The workflow scores each newly registered company against that profile and only adds the good-fit matches, keeping the daily list focused.

### Does this work with HubSpot's free plan?

Yes. It creates companies and notes using standard CRM features that are available on HubSpot's free tier.

### How many companies will it add each day?

Only the best-fit new registrations from the day before, which is usually a short, focused list rather than every company that was incorporated.
