Today, General Input Specialists are open to everyone, on the web and on iPhone.
Our goal with General Input is simple: automate the parts of your job you hate doing, so you can spend more time on the work you love. Specialists are how we get there. Each one is an AI agent that learns one part of your work, does it the way you would, and takes more of it off your plate every time you delegate.
Describe the task, and a specialist takes it from there
Start by describing any task you'd normally do on your computer, in your own words. Pull last month's churned accounts and draft a win-back email for each one. Turn this signed SOW into a contract from our template. Check the supplier portal every morning and enter new purchase orders in our ERP.
If you already have a specialist trained for that work, the task goes straight to it. If you don't, General Input creates a new specialist to become the expert, and it asks what it needs to know before it starts.
Then it keeps what it learned. A specialist writes down how you like the work done, as skills and memory in plain language, so the next request starts from your process instead of from scratch. The more you delegate, the more it can take on without being told twice.
What specialists can do
Specialists do the work, not just describe it.
- Build dashboards and apps. An operating report your team opens every morning, or a tool built around a process only your company has.
- Create documents. Contracts, reports, and proposals, formatted and ready to send.
- Browse the web. A specialist works in a real browser, so it can use the sites and legacy systems that have no API, and you can watch it work live.
- Connect to the tools your team already uses. Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Stripe, DocuSign, and the rest of your stack.
Work can also run on a schedule or when something happens, so it keeps going between conversations.
Built for your whole team
Any specialist can be shared with your entire team. Everyone gets the same expert with the same skills and memory, so the way your best person handles a job becomes the way your company handles it, instead of staying trapped on one person's laptop.
Your conversations stay private. What you share is what the specialist knows and does: its skills, memory, files, and the work it runs.
No limits on your workforce
Unlike other solutions, General Input doesn't cap how far you take it.
- Every model. Use any major model, including the ChatGPT or Claude subscription you already pay for.
- As many specialists as you need. One job per specialist works best, for the same reason a dozen small agents beat one giant one, so create one for every job you have.
- No limit on concurrent executions. Workflows run in parallel, so one long job never holds up the rest.
Your specialists, on your phone
The General Input iPhone app launches today. Hand a specialist a task from anywhere, get a notification when it needs a decision, approve its work in a tap, and open the apps it builds. Everything stays in sync with the web, so a conversation you start at your desk picks up on your phone.
