Prompt library: ready-made starting points for workflows
Knowing what to automate first is often the hardest part. The prompt library, launched April 30, collects ready-made starting points by use case and by integration. Pick one and the builder starts from that prompt, so the first draft of a workflow is a click away instead of a blank page. The same library is public at generalinput.com/prompts.
How it works
- Lighter than templates. A prompt describes the job rather than shipping a finished workflow, so the builder adapts it to your own tools and data as it builds.
- Your choice of workflow type. Turn a prompt into a code workflow for fixed steps, or an agent workflow for work that needs judgment.
- Browse by use case or app. Filter by category, and every integration's page lists the prompts that use it.
- Part of onboarding. Since May, new workspaces finish onboarding with a suggested first prompt.
Also shipped
- App prompts in August: starting points for internal tools and dashboards, not just workflows.
