Collaborative workflow editing with live presence

Two weeks after sharing launched, a workflow can be shared with Editor access. Editors can change instructions, triggers, credentials, settings, and agent configuration, and can ask the agent to make changes. Once more than one person can edit the same workflow, collisions become possible, so this release also makes concurrent editing safe.

How it works

  • Version checks. Every workflow carries a version number, and each change is sent with the version the browser last loaded. If someone else saved first, you see "This workflow was changed" with a reload option, and your unsaved edits stay on screen so you can copy them.
  • Live updates. Each save is broadcast to everyone viewing the workflow, and open tabs refresh only when they're actually behind.
  • Presence. The workflow page shows an avatar for each member who has it open.
  • One agent at a time. When another member starts the agent, everyone viewing attaches to that run and watches it stream, instead of starting a second one.
  • Admin access. Workspace admins now get Editor access to every workflow by default.
