Export and import workflows, apps, and skills as .zip files

You can now move a workflow, app, or skill between workspaces as a file. Export downloads the resource's live bundle as a .zip; import validates it, shows a preview, and creates the resource. Credentials never travel in the file, so an imported workflow arrives ready for you to connect your own accounts.

How it works

  • Export. Anyone with read access can export. For workflows, you choose which setting values ride along, so workspace-specific values can stay behind.
  • Import. Upload a .zip of up to 50 MB from the Workflows, Apps, or Skills page. Unsafe archives are rejected, the bundle is validated against that resource's spec, and nothing is created until you confirm.
  • Safe arrival. Imported workflows arrive disabled, so nothing fires webhooks or polls before you review it. Missing connections show as needing attention, and a failed import leaves nothing half-created.
  • Portable skills. Skills use the standard Agent Skills folder layout, so they move between hosts.

Template upgrades

Workflows installed from a template now show their source and an upgrade banner when the author publishes a newer version. Upgrading snapshots your current code, applies the new version, keeps your connections, settings, triggers, sharing, and run history, and lets you roll back.

Also shipped

  • Template authors choose which setting values ship as defaults.
