Self-updating AI memory: Memory refreshes itself every day
The knowledge base is now Memory, one name across the product: a Memory page in the dashboard, and workspace and personal memory available to every agent. The bigger change is that it no longer depends on someone typing facts into it. A memory agent runs daily for each memory, reads what happened since its last run, and revises it: confirming what still holds, changing what changed, adding what's new, and removing what's now wrong.
How it works
- Signals, not prompts. Each run reads the team's chats, what was built, and what ran. If nothing happened, the run is skipped.
- Requests, not notes. What you type into the memory form, and what agents file with the
remembertool, becomes a request the memory agent consumes on its next run. People's requests are instructions; agents' inferences are checked against the evidence first. No agent edits memory directly. - Shared memory is never about a person. Workspace memory records how the business works and never stores names, emails, or phone numbers; facts about one person belong in their personal memory.
- It does its own research. The workspace memory agent reads what the company has published, starting from its website, and dates every claim so later runs know what to re-check.
- A new page. A timeline of everything that shaped the memory sits beside the memory itself.
