Changelog
Offline-ready iPhone app with on-device conversations
The iPhone app now opens on what it already has. Chat lists and recent conversations live on the device, a notification fetches its conversation as it arrives, and coming back reads only the messages you missed. Tapping a reply notification opens on the reply, even in airplane mode.
How it works
- Device cache. A local SQLite store holds your chat lists, recent conversations, and signed-in identity. Twenty conversations are restored at launch and up to 200 are kept; the rest load when opened. The cache is scoped per server, user, and workspace, and wiped on sign-out.
- Delta reads. Reopening a conversation fetches only messages after the last one you have, or the newest page if a lot is new.
- Notification extension. When a push arrives, a Notification Service Extension downloads the conversation, so the reply is already on the phone when you tap.
- Away-time messages appear quietly. Only messages you watch arrive live animate in; anything that landed while you were away is simply there.
- No stale "working." Typing indicators and Stop appear only after a fresh check confirms the run is still going.
Also shipped
- Messages you send while a specialist works wait in a tray above the composer, where you can edit or remove them.
- Word documents preview as laid-out pages, rendered in an isolated frame.
- Links open full screen in the native Safari view.
