Files a specialist delivers open in the side panel

When a specialist finishes a report, a deck, a spreadsheet, or an image and sends it to you in a conversation, the file now opens in the chat's right side panel on its own, the way a workflow, app, or skill already opens there as soon as the specialist builds or changes it. You can read what it made right away and keep talking, without hunting for the file card in the transcript.

How it works

  • The newest arrival wins. Whatever the specialist made or sent most recently takes the panel: a file it delivered, or a workflow, app, or skill it built or updated. Files you attach yourself never open on their own.
  • Only what just arrived. Opening a conversation, refreshing the page, or switching chats never pops a file open. Only a file delivered while you watch does, including during a workflow run you are watching.
  • Room for it, or nothing. The panel opens by itself only when the window is wide enough to show it beside the chat. On a narrow window or a phone, the file stays in the transcript and in the Outputs list, one click away, and that now holds for workflows, apps, and skills too, which used to slide a panel over the conversation.
  • Your choice sticks. Close the panel and it stays closed until the specialist delivers something new.

The file opens in the same side panel viewer as a file you click, with download and full screen a click away.
