iCloud Mail, AOL Mail, and any IMAP mailbox

Your specialists now work with more inboxes than Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo Mail. Connect iCloud Mail, AOL Mail, or any mailbox that offers IMAP, such as a custom-domain address at your web host, GMX, or Fastmail, through Email (IMAP). Each one can find and summarize messages, read attachments, file or delete mail, send from your own address, and start a workflow when a new email arrives in a folder you choose.

How it works

  • iCloud and AOL connect with an app password. You create a password just for General Input in your Apple Account or AOL account settings, and paste it in. Your real password never reaches us. Changing your Apple Account password signs General Input out, so you'd create a new one.
  • For any other mailbox, you usually type only your address and password. We look up your provider's mail servers from your address when you connect, the same way desktop mail apps do. If your provider isn't known, you enter its servers once.
  • Every connection is encrypted. We only connect over TLS, and only to public mail servers, never to an address on a private network.
  • The New Email trigger works on all of them. Watch any folder, narrowed to a sender or a subject if you like. We check about once a minute and never start a workflow twice for the same message.
