Build me an agent workflow that runs every day at 8am ET and welcomes every new Introw partner from the last 24 hours.

Trigger: cron, daily at 8:00 AM America/New_York.

Step 1. Call Introw List Partners and filter to partners whose created_at is within the last 24 hours (relative to the run time). If the list is paginated, follow the cursor until you have them all. If there are no new partners, post a short 'No new Introw partners in the last 24 hours' note to the partnerships Slack channel using Slack Send a Message, then finish.

Step 2. For each new partner, do the following sequentially:

a) Call Introw Get a Partner with the partner id to pull the full record. You need the partner name, tier, phase, owner (name + email), and primary contact (name + email).

b) Draft a personalized welcome email using Gmail Create a Draft, addressed to the partner's primary contact email. The copy should be tuned to the partner's tier: a warmer, more high-touch tone with a kickoff-call invite for strategic / top-tier partners, and a crisper, self-serve-friendly tone with a portal walkthrough link placeholder for long-tail / lower tiers. Always include a clearly marked '[partner manager: add a personal note here]' placeholder above the signoff so the human can personalize before sending. Use a subject like 'Welcome to the program, <partner name>' and sign off from the partner's owner.

c) Create an onboarding task in Asana with Asana Create a Task in the partnerships team's onboarding project. Title: 'Onboard <partner name>'. Assignee: the partner's owner (look up by owner email; if no match, leave unassigned and flag in the recap). Due date: 3 business days out from today. In the task description, include the partner tier, phase, primary contact, and a link back to the partner record in Introw.

d) Add three subtasks under that Asana task using Asana Create a Subtask: 'Kickoff call', 'Partner portal walkthrough', and 'Commission plan review'.

Step 3. Post one summary message to the partnerships Slack channel with Slack Send a Message. Use a clean list: for each new partner, one line with the partner name, the tier, the owner, a link to the Gmail draft, and a link to the Asana task. End with a quick total ('3 new partners onboarded today'). If any partner had a missing owner or missing primary contact email, call it out at the bottom so a human can fix it.

Inputs the user should configure: the Slack channel for the recap, the Asana onboarding project, the partner manager's Gmail account, the tier-specific email copy, and the time zone. Default to 8am ET if not specified.

Important: emails are drafts, never sent automatically. Asana tasks and Slack messages are created/posted directly.

Additional information

What does this prompt do?

  • Drafts a personalized welcome email in Gmail tuned to the partner's tier, with a spot for the partner manager to add a personal note before sending.
  • Creates an onboarding task in Asana assigned to the partner's owner, with subtasks for the kickoff call, portal walkthrough, and commission plan review, due 3 business days out.
  • Posts one tidy recap in your partnerships Slack channel listing each new partner, the email draft link, and the Asana task link.
What do I need to use this?
  • An Introw account with API access to your partners
  • A Gmail account for the partner manager who sends the welcome notes

  • A Slack workspace and the channel where your partnerships team hangs out
How can I customize it?
  • Change the run time or time zone (default is 8am ET every morning).
  • Adjust the email tone and subject line per tier, or add tiers like 'reseller' or 'agency' with their own copy.

  • Pick a different Slack channel for the recap, or split strategic vs long-tail partners into separate posts.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a new Introw partner?
Anything created in Introw in the last 24 hours before the workflow runs. If a partner is created at 4pm Monday, it shows up in Tuesday's 8am run.
Will the welcome emails get sent automatically?
No. The workflow creates drafts in Gmail so the partner manager can add a personal note, double-check the copy, and hit send. Nothing goes out without a human.
What happens if no new partners were added yesterday?
The workflow still runs, sees zero new partners, and posts a short 'no new partners today' note in Slack so the team knows it ran. You can turn that off if you prefer silence.
Can I use a different tone for strategic partners vs long-tail partners?
Yes. The agent reads the partner's tier and uses different copy and signoffs for each. You can tune the language for any tier in the prompt.
Does the Asana task get assigned to the right person?
Yes. The agent uses the partner's owner field from Introw as the Asana assignee. If a partner has no owner, the task is left unassigned and flagged in the Slack recap.
