Editorial fashion photos for your Airtable content calendar
Flip a row to Needs art and Geni produces a fashion-grade Higgsfield Soul photo in the right preset, attaches it to the record, and posts it to Slack for review.
Watch our Airtable content calendar. Every time a row is created or updated so that its Status field equals Needs art, produce an editorial photo for it using Higgsfield Soul and hand it back to the team.
Trigger: Airtable poll on the content calendar table, event new_or_updated_record. Only continue for rows whose Status is exactly Needs art. The base ID, table ID, and Slack review channel are configurable.
Steps for each qualifying row:
Read the Brief field (the creative direction, subject, wardrobe, mood) and any optional Style Hint field (e.g. "Bimbocore", "Medieval", "Cinematic"). If a Style Hint is populated, honour it; otherwise pick the best preset yourself in the next step.
Call Higgsfield
List Soul Stylesonce per run to fetch the current 50+ curated presets. Read each preset's name and description, then pick the single closest match for the brief's tone. If a Style Hint is populated, resolve it to the preset with that exact or nearest name.Call Higgsfield
Generate Image with Soul (Text-to-Image)with the brief's text as the prompt and the chosen preset's ID as the style. Poll until the job reaches a terminal status. On
completed: call AirtableUpdate Recordon the trigger row and write the finished image URL into the row's attachment or image URL field, the chosen preset name into a Style Used field, and flip Status to Ready for review. Then Slack
Send a Messageto the configured review channel. Include the row's title, the chosen preset name, the image URL (Slack will unfurl it as a thumbnail), and a link back to the Airtable record.
Safety filter handling. Higgsfield returns a terminal status of nsfw when the safety filter blocks the output. If that happens on the first attempt, soften the prompt once (remove or generalise anything that could read as risque, keep the editorial subject and preset intact) and resubmit. If a second attempt also comes back nsfw, do not fail silently: call Airtable Update Record to flip Status to "Needs human input", write a short note into a Blocker Notes field explaining that the safety filter blocked the output twice, and Slack Send a Message to the review channel flagging the row so a human can rewrite the brief. Never leave the row stuck on Needs art.
Why Soul specifically: it is Higgsfield's high-aesthetic photo model with 50+ curated editorial presets across fashion, cinematic, and culture-native styles, so the preset does most of the art direction and the results feel like brand campaign work rather than generic AI art.
Additional information
What does this prompt do?
- Watches your Airtable content calendar and picks up any row whose status flips to Needs art.
- Pulls the current Higgsfield Soul style catalogue and picks the closest editorial preset for the brief, or honours a style hint you typed in yourself.
- Generates a fashion-grade photo, writes the finished image URL and the chosen style back to the row, and marks it Ready for review.
- Posts a Slack heads-up with a thumbnail and a direct link to the Airtable record so the team can approve or ask for a revision.
- If the safety filter blocks the output, softens the prompt once and retries. If it blocks again, flips the row to Needs human input instead of failing quietly.
What do I need to use this?
- An Airtable content calendar with a Status field (or similar) that can hold values like Needs art and Ready for review, plus a field to store the finished image and one for the chosen style.
- A Higgsfield Cloud account with API access to the Soul photo model.
- A Slack workspace and a review channel where the finished images should land.
How can I customize it?
- Change the trigger keyword (Needs art) to whatever status value your team already uses on the content calendar.
- Point the workflow at a specific Slack channel per brand or campaign, or route different content types to different channels.
- Add your own guardrails on the brief text (banned words, required attributes) or force a fixed preset for a specific campaign so every image ships in the same look.
