Every weekday at 8am, tell me which real companies visited our website yesterday.

Start in Google Sheets. Use Get Values to read our visitor log, the sheet our site appends a row to for every pageview with the visitor IP address, the page path and a timestamp. Keep only yesterday's rows, then build the distinct list of IP addresses along with the pages each one viewed and how many pageviews it accounted for.

Resolve that entire list in a single IPinfo Batch IP Lookup rather than looking addresses up one at a time. The batch operation accepts up to 1000 entries in one request. Each address in the array counts as one request against the IPinfo quota, but the batch call itself is free, so one call per day is the right shape even for a busy log.

Now do the filtering, which is the part that needs judgement. Discard addresses that resolve to consumer ISPs and mobile carriers, to VPNs, proxies and Tor exit nodes, to known bots and crawlers, and to hosting and cloud providers. Keep the ones whose network owner looks like a genuine organisation that came to look at us. Note that IPinfo returns the owner as a single string combining the ASN and the organisation name, for example "AS15169 Google LLC", so read it carefully: a large technology company's name sitting on a consumer or cloud range is usually noise, while a mid-size manufacturer, agency or bank on its own corporate ASN is a real signal.

When an owner name is ambiguous and you cannot tell whether it is a real company or a reseller, use Get Hosted Domains for an IP to see which domains sit behind that address and confirm the company behind the range. Treat this as an optional confirmation step. The data is plan gated and paginated, so if it is unavailable, fall back to the network owner name rather than failing the run.

Cross-reference every surviving company against our CRM using HubSpot Search Companies, matching on company name and on domain wherever you have one. Label each company as an existing customer, an open opportunity, or net new, so I can tell them apart at a glance.

Post one digest to Slack with Send a Message, ranked by how many pages each organisation viewed, highest first. For each company show the company name, the country, the pages they looked at and their CRM status. Keep it to a single message rather than one message per company. If nothing identifiable turns up after filtering, skip the post entirely and do not send an empty digest.
