When a new member joins my Whop, I want them synced into every tool I use, automatically, with no drafting or judgement anywhere in the process. Every step is a fixed field mapping over structured data, so build this as a deterministic workflow.

Trigger: use the Whop poll trigger with the new_member event type, so the workflow runs once for each new member who joins the company.

Step 1. Call Whop Retrieve Member for the member id from the trigger. Pull their email address, name, product (access pass), plan, access level and total spend. Everything downstream maps from these fields.

Step 2. Send them to Klaviyo with Create or Update Profile (Upsert), matching on email address so an existing subscriber is updated rather than duplicated. Map the name onto the profile name fields, and put the Whop product, plan, access level and total spend on the profile as custom properties so they can be segmented on later.

Step 3. Add the resulting profile to my Whop members list in Klaviyo using Add Profiles to List, passing the profile id returned by the upsert. This is what makes my existing welcome flow fire, so do not try to send any email directly from the workflow.

Step 4. Append a roster row to my Google Sheets member tracker with Append Values. One row per member, columns in this order: join date, name, email, product, plan, status. Format the join date as a plain date rather than a raw timestamp.

Step 5. Finish with Slack Send a Message to my sales channel announcing the new member: their name, the product they bought, the plan, and what they spent. Keep it to a short single message, not a thread.

Handling: if a member comes back without an email address, skip the two Klaviyo steps but still write the spreadsheet row and post the Slack announcement, so one incomplete record never fails the whole run. Reading member emails on Whop needs the member email read permission granted at connect time in addition to basic member read.

If I use a different email marketing tool, beehiiv or Brevo should drop into the Klaviyo steps with the same upsert then add to list shape.
