Turn Typeform demo signups into scored CRM leads with Slack alerts
Every new demo or contact form response gets researched, scored against your ICP, deduped into your CRM, and pushed to sales in Slack within minutes.
When a new response comes in to my Typeform demo request form, run an agent that turns the submission into a fully qualified CRM lead and posts a Slack alert to sales.
Trigger: a Typeform webhook for new responses on my demo or contact form. When it fires, use Typeform's Retrieve Responses to pull the full submission so the agent has every answer the prospect gave (name, work email, company, role, anything else on the form).
Step 1. Check the email domain. If it's a personal provider (gmail.com, yahoo.com, outlook.com, hotmail.com, icloud.com, aol.com, proton.me, and similar), route the lead to a low-priority lane: still create the CRM records so nothing is lost, but skip the Slack alert entirely. Otherwise, treat the submission as a real inbound and continue with research.
Step 2. Research the prospect from the work email domain. Pull firmographics (industry, rough headcount, location), a one-line summary of what the company does, and any notable recent news in the last ~90 days (funding rounds, hiring, product launches, leadership changes). Use this research to write one or two sharp, specific talking points the AE can open with.
Step 3. Score the lead Hot, Warm, or Cold against my ICP. Hot = strong fit on every dimension I care about. Warm = clear fit on some, weak on others. Cold = poor fit. My ICP is: [fill in industry, company size, role, deal size, geography]. ICP scoring is judgement work, so reason about the fit explicitly before assigning a label.
Step 4. Write to my General Input CRM in this order so the records link cleanly:
a) Call Create Companies to find-or-create the company record from the work email domain. The CRM dedupes org-wide, so an existing company will be returned instead of duplicated.
b) Call Create People to find-or-create the person, linked to that company, using their email as the canonical identity.
c) Call Create Card to open a card in my inbound pipeline. Tag the card with the Hot, Warm, or Cold score, attach the form answers and the research summary as the card description, and link the company and person records to it.
Step 5. Send a Slack message to my inbound-sales channel with a short brief: prospect name and title, company name with a one-line summary, the Hot/Warm/Cold score, the top one or two talking points from the research, and a link to the CRM card. Keep it tight, the AE just needs to know who this is, why they fit, and what to open with.
Personal email submissions still get the CRM card (drop them in a low-priority column or tag them as 'personal email') but no Slack alert. Only real, work-email prospects ping sales.
Additional information
What does this prompt do?
- Watches your Typeform demo or contact form and acts the moment a new response lands.
- Researches the prospect's company from their work email domain, including industry, size, and recent news.
- Adds or updates the company and person in your General Input CRM and opens a card in your inbound pipeline.
- Scores the lead Hot, Warm, or Cold against your ICP and posts a short brief to the right Slack channel.
- Routes personal email signups like Gmail and Yahoo to a quiet, low-priority lane so sales only hears about real prospects.
What do I need to use this?
- A Typeform account with the demo or contact form you want to capture.
- A General Input workspace with CRM access turned on.
- A Slack workspace and the channel you want alerts to land in.
- A short note describing your ICP (industry, company size, role, deal size).
How can I customize it?
- Change which Slack channel gets pinged, or split Hot leads and Warm leads into different channels.
- Tune what counts as Hot, Warm, or Cold based on your ICP.
- Adjust how personal email signups are handled, including which domains count as personal.
- Tell the agent which form fields matter most so it weights them when writing the brief.
