Weekly Adobe Commerce executive report in Notion and Slack
Every Monday at 8am, turn last week's Adobe Commerce orders and refunds into a written executive brief in Notion, with a short Slack summary linking to it.
Every Monday at 8am, I want an AI-written weekly executive commerce report.
Pull the last seven days of orders from Adobe Commerce using List Orders, and the same window of refunds using List Credit Memos. Also pull the seven days before that as a comparison window so we can compute week-over-week deltas on the same set of KPIs.
From that data, compute the headline KPIs for the current week: total revenue (sum of order grand totals), order count, average order value, refund rate (credit memo total divided by revenue), top five SKUs by revenue, and top categories by revenue. Compute the same numbers for the prior week and include the week-over-week delta on every headline metric.
Write a plain-English narrative for a busy executive. A few paragraphs, no jargon. Call out what moved, what didn't, and what to watch next week. Use the deltas to explain the story, not just to list numbers.
Publish the full narrative as a new Notion page using Create a Page under a parent page I choose during setup. The page title must include the week ending date, for example "Weekly commerce report — week ending 2026-07-13", so the archive is easy to scan.
Then post a short Slack summary to a channel I choose using Send a Message. Keep it to 5-8 lines: the biggest movers (revenue, refund rate, top SKU shifts) up top, and a link to the full Notion page at the bottom so leadership can skim in Slack and click through for detail.
If a week has no orders or refunds, still run and file a short quiet-week note in Notion plus a one-line Slack ping, so the weekly rhythm stays intact.
