Agents render PDF reports and slide decks in a real browser
Ask the chat agent for a report, a slide deck, or a one-page graphic, and it now designs the file the way a web designer would: as HTML and CSS, exported through headless Chrome inside its sandbox. That gives every file a real layout engine, with grids, web fonts, proper text wrapping, and inline SVG charts, instead of hand-placed coordinates.
How it works
- Formats. Reports export as A4 PDFs, slide decks as 16:9 landscape PDF pages, and infographics or flyers as full-page PNGs. Raw data still comes back as CSV.
- Clean page breaks. Agents are instructed to keep tables, headings, and charts from splitting across pages.
- A library of reference designs. Agents search a library of example PDF reports, slide decks, graphics, CSVs, and HTML emails by description, read the closest match, and borrow its spacing, typography, and structure rather than copying it.
- One rendering path. This replaced the coordinate-based PDF library and the separate PowerPoint, Word, and Excel generators. Native Office files came back in April with document skills.
