Changelog

geni CLI and MCP server now manage specialists and runs

With specialists, the geni CLI and the MCP server picked up a long list of operations that used to need the dashboard. Agents inside General Input got the same operations as tools, so an outside coding agent, the CLI, and a specialist all work through one set of actions. The developer docs were audited against the deployed tools and every /v1 route in the same release. See the developer page.

What's new

  • Specialists. List, create, update, delete, and pin specialists, and move resources between them.
  • Specialist files. List, pull, push, and remove files. Every write must present the version it read, so a stale write is refused instead of overwriting someone else's change.
  • Export, import, and templates. Export a specialist as a ZIP with chosen files and memory, import one, and install or publish specialist templates.
  • Sharing. Inspect, grant, and revoke access for one member or the whole workspace.
  • Credential maintenance. Check health (status, expiry, and scopes, never secrets), refresh, rename, annotate, and see what depends on a credential.
  • Run control. Resume a paused run, follow up on a finished one, cancel, or retry with the original input, and inspect or replay trigger activity.
  • Versions. List and revert resource versions, enable or disable resources, and capture app screenshots at phone and desktop widths.
