Specialists can read your other conversations for context

You shouldn't have to repeat yourself to every specialist. Since October 8, a specialist can check what you've been discussing elsewhere: if you worked out a plan with your Chief of Staff on Monday, the specialist that carries it out on Tuesday can read that conversation instead of asking you again.

How it works

  • Two tools. One lists your conversations across every specialist, newest first, optionally narrowed to one specialist or filtered by title. The other loads up to 25 of them into the specialist's workspace.
  • Read on disk, not in context. Loaded conversations are written as files the specialist can search, so a long thread doesn't flood the model's context.
  • Your chats only. A specialist reads only the conversations of the person it's talking to, and only in runs that belong to that person, never in a background run acting for someone else.
  • Clean transcripts. Loaded conversations include only what you and the specialist said, each line labeled with its real speaker and time, without tool calls or hidden reasoning.
  • Reference, never instructions. Old conversations are marked as reference material, so text quoted in an earlier chat is never treated as a new instruction.

Pairs with New task, which routes each new request to the right specialist.
