Changelog

Instantly triggers fire on replies, lead changes, campaigns

Workflows started by Instantly triggers now run when the event happens. Eleven triggers were affected: New Reply Received, Campaign Completed, and the nine lead triggers, from Lead Marked Interested and Lead Booked a Meeting to Lead Bounced and Lead Unsubscribed. Most of them rarely or never fired, and fetching a sample while building a workflow always came back empty. A workflow you already built on one of them now runs with no change on your side.

How it works

  • Lead triggers watch for status changes. They ask Instantly for leads whose interest status changed in the last two days, so a lead imported weeks ago still fires the moment it is marked Interested.
  • Bounces and unsubscribes have room to arrive late. Lead Bounced looks at leads contacted in the last 7 days and Lead Unsubscribed at the last 30, since a bounce or an unsubscribe click can land days after the email went out.
  • Each lead fires once per trigger. A lead marked Meeting Booked starts that trigger's workflow one time.
  • Replies are read by arrival time. New Reply Received looks at replies Instantly received in the last six hours and fires once for each, auto-replies included.
  • Every completed campaign counts. Campaign Completed fires once for each campaign that reaches Completed, however long ago it was last edited. Trigger samples now return real leads, replies, and campaigns from your account.
