Global search finds conversations, best match first

Global search (Cmd+K, or Ctrl+K) now looks through your conversations too. Type part of a conversation's title or its specialist's name, and it shows up beside your workflows, apps, files, and people.

Results are ranked now as well. Search used to list workflows first and people last, however well each one matched. Now every result is scored against what you typed and the best match comes first, so pressing Enter opens it.

How it works

  • The name counts most. An exact name beats one that starts with your search, which beats one holding it anywhere. A match in a description or email counts for less.
  • Typos still match. A misspelled search still finds a close name, ranked below the names that match what you typed.
  • Recent use breaks ties. Between two equally good matches, the one you opened or changed more recently comes first.
  • Your workspace before the catalog. Integrations you haven't connected rank below your own workflows, apps, and specialists that match as well.
  • Groups follow their best result. Results stay grouped by kind, each group placed where its best result ranks.

It searches your own conversations. The same ranking now orders @-mention suggestions on the web and the phone, and the skills and past conversations your specialists find when they search.

  • Choosing a specialist opens its own page instead of its latest conversation.
  • Cmd+K opens search from every page, settings and editors included.
