Use API-Sports List Fixtures with the team filter set to my club and the date set to today in my local timezone to find any fixture scheduled for today. If there is no fixture today, stop and post nothing.
If my team has a match today, pull the injury and suspension picture for it. Use API-Sports Get Injuries filtered to that fixture (or by my team and today's date) to list every injured or suspended player for the game. If there is no injury or suspension news at all, stop and post nothing.
If the projected or confirmed starting eleven has been published, also fetch it with API-Sports Get Fixture Lineups to get the starting XI, substitutes, and formation for my team. Official lineups usually publish about an hour before kickoff, so on a 9am run this is often empty. When it is empty, work from the injuries and suspensions alone and do not wait for or invent a lineup.
Write a concise briefing for a fantasy manager deciding their squad. Cover who is definitely out (injured or suspended), who is doubtful, and, when the lineup is available, how the absences reshape the team, including formation changes and the players likely to step in. Focus on my club only and keep it to the players and positions that actually affect fantasy selection.
Post the finished briefing to my chosen Discord channel using Discord Send a Message. Only post when there is both a match today and real injury, suspension, or lineup news. On any day with no match or no news, skip silently and send nothing.
