Weekly hiring funnel intelligence report
Every Monday at 9am, get an evidence-backed exec briefing on pipeline health, candidate signal, interviewer coverage, and comp intel.
Every Monday at 9am, produce a weekly hiring funnel intelligence report across Metaview, Notion, and Slack. Treat this as a recurring exec briefing, not a data dump: evidence-backed bullets, specific role names, specific numbers, and 2 to 3 short transcript excerpts as citations for every claim.
Trigger: cron, every Monday at 09:00 in the user's local timezone.
Step 1. Discover the Metaview tool catalog. Use Metaview's List Available Tools to see the current MCP tools and their input schemas, then use Call a Tool for each funnel-wide query below. The tool names and argument shapes are not statically documented, so always inspect the schemas from List Available Tools before invoking Call a Tool.
Step 2. Run funnel-wide queries over the last 7 days covering: (a) which open roles had the most interviews but zero advances or hires, (b) red flags surfaced in scorecard feedback (concern themes, repeated negative signals), (c) competency coverage gaps across interviewers for each open role, (d) compensation expectations candidates raised in conversation and how they compare to the posted range, and (e) any role with 3 or more interviews in the last 7 days where at least one interviewer has not submitted a scorecard.
Step 3. Synthesize a report with four sections, each with the underlying numbers plus 2 to 3 specific transcript excerpts as evidence: Pipeline Health, Candidate Signal, Interviewer Coverage, and Comp Intel. Add a Watch This Week callout at the top listing any role that hit the 3-interviews-no-scorecard threshold.
Step 4. Publish to Notion. Use Notion's Create a Page to make a new page titled "Hiring funnel weekly, <date range>" inside the recruiting parent page the user shares with the connection. Then use Append Block Children to add the sections as heading + paragraph + bulleted list + quote blocks. Do not try to put the whole body into Create a Page; build it up with Append Block Children in one or more calls.
Step 5. Announce in Slack. Use the Slack Bot Send a Message operation to post to the #hiring or #people-ops channel (ask the user which on setup, default to #hiring). The message is a 5-bullet TL;DR: one bullet per section plus one bullet for the Watch This Week callout, followed by the Notion page URL. Keep it tight and readable in Slack's mrkdwn (single asterisks for bold, no headings).
Style rules. No em dashes anywhere. Always name the role. Always attach a number or a quoted excerpt to every claim. If the week was genuinely quiet, still create the Notion page and post the Slack summary so the user knows the workflow ran.
Configurable inputs to expose on the workflow: Slack channel (default #hiring), Notion parent page id, lookback days (default 7), and the scorecard-missing threshold (default 3 interviews).
Additional information
What does this prompt do?
- Pulls the last 7 days of interviews, scorecards, and candidate conversations from Metaview and shapes them into an exec-ready weekly briefing.
- Writes a full report to a fresh Notion page with sections for Pipeline Health, Candidate Signal, Interviewer Coverage, and Comp Intel, each backed by numbers and 2 to 3 real transcript excerpts.
- Posts a 5-bullet TL;DR plus the Notion link to your hiring or people-ops Slack channel every Monday morning.
- Flags any open role with 3 or more interviews and no scorecard submitted as a watch this week callout.
What do I need to use this?
- A Metaview account with permission to see your team's interviews, scorecards, and candidate conversations.
- A Notion workspace where a recruiting parent page has been shared with your General Input connection so a new weekly page can be created inside it.
- A Slack workspace where our bot has been added to your hiring or people-ops channel so the Monday summary can post there.
How can I customize it?
- Change the schedule (default Monday 9am) to fit your hiring cadence, for example every other Monday or Friday afternoons.
- Swap the Slack channel between #hiring, #people-ops, or a leadership channel, or point it at a DM to the head of recruiting.
- Adjust the lookback window from 7 days, or tune the watch this week threshold (default: 3 interviews without a scorecard).
- Rework the section list if you care more about, say, offer acceptance patterns or sourcing channel performance.
