Weekly sales call coaching board for your sales team
Compare every rep's call volume, sentiment, and talk time in one place, then open any call to read the transcript and write coaching notes.
I want an app my sales managers open every week to review how our reps are actually selling. It is a review surface, not a background automation. Nothing runs on a schedule, and every write to another system happens because a manager pressed a button.
The main view is a rep roster for a date range the manager picks at the top of the page. Each row is one rep with their call count, average sentiment across those calls, and their talk ratio, meaning the share of speaking time that was the rep rather than the customer. Build the roster from AssemblyAI List Transcripts, then AssemblyAI Get Transcript for each transcript to read its speaker labeled utterances and sentiment analysis results. Compute talk ratio by summing utterance durations per speaker and dividing the rep's total by the length of the whole call. Visually flag any call, and any rep row, where one speaker talks more than 70 percent of the time.
Clicking a rep opens their call list: date, account or file name, duration, sentiment, talk ratio, and whether a coaching scorecard and notes exist yet. Clicking a call opens the review pane.
The review pane shows the speaker labeled transcript from AssemblyAI Get Transcript, with AssemblyAI Get Sentences supplying per sentence timestamps and sentiment so each sentence can be tinted by sentiment and clicked to jump to its point in the call.
Alongside the transcript, show a jump-to list of competitor and pricing mentions built with AssemblyAI Word Search over a configurable word list, covering competitor names plus pricing terms like discount, budget, quote, and contract. Each hit links to its timestamp in the transcript.
Generate a coaching scorecard for the call with AssemblyAI LLM Gateway Chat Completion run against the transcript. The scorecard covers discovery questions asked, objections raised and how the rep handled them, and next steps agreed. Cache the generated scorecard per call so it is not regenerated every time the pane opens, and give managers a regenerate button.
Managers type coaching notes in the review pane and those notes persist per call inside the app. A Log to CRM button finds the matching deal with HubSpot Search Deals, matching on the account or contact name associated with the call, and attaches the recap plus the manager's notes with HubSpot Create Note. A Share win button posts a highlight to a channel with Slack Bot Send a Message, letting the manager pick the channel and edit the message before it sends.
Include a sync handler the manager can run from inside the app to pull in new recordings: Google Drive List Files over a configured recordings folder, Google Drive Download File Content for anything new, then AssemblyAI Submit Transcript with speaker labels and sentiment analysis turned on. This is a button in the app, not a scheduled job, and it should stay secondary in the UI. The review board is the point.
Reps should only see their own calls and scorecards, while managers see the whole team including the roster comparison view. Map recordings to reps by file name or folder convention and store that mapping inside the app so a manager can correct it when a recording lands against the wrong person.
Add a small settings view where the scorecard rubric is editable, meaning the criteria the model scores each call against, along with the competitor and pricing word list, the talk ratio threshold, and which Drive folder gets swept.
One important constraint: AssemblyAI's list endpoint only exposes the last 90 days of transcripts. The app should keep its own record of the transcript ids it has already seen, together with the rep mapping, coaching notes, and generated scorecards, so managers can still review calls and trends beyond that 90 day window.
What does this prompt do?
- Lists every rep for the date range you pick, showing how many calls they ran, how positive those calls sounded, and how much of each conversation they spent talking
- Open any call to read the full transcript with each speaker labeled and sentiment marked sentence by sentence, and jump straight to every competitor and pricing mention
- Flags one-sided calls where a single person did more than 70 percent of the talking, and builds a coaching scorecard for each call covering discovery questions, objections, and agreed next steps
- Coaching notes save against each call, and one click logs a recap to the matching deal in your CRM or shares a highlight to a team channel
What do I need to use this?
- An AssemblyAI account to transcribe and analyze your call recordings
- A Google Drive folder where your call recordings get saved
- A HubSpot login if you want to log recaps against deals
- A Slack workspace if you want to share wins to a channel
- Call recordings that capture both sides of the conversation, so speaker separation and talk ratio work
How can I customize it?
- Change the talk time threshold that flags a one-sided call, up or down from 70 percent
- Edit the coaching scorecard rubric in settings so it scores against your own sales methodology
- Update the list of competitor names and pricing words the jump list watches for
- Point the recording sync at a different Drive folder, or change how recordings get matched to reps
