Every Friday at 4:00 PM in my local timezone, build an upbeat "wins of the week" audio recap and post it into our Slack #wins channel.

Step 1: pull the deals. Use HubSpot Search Deals to find every deal where dealstage equals closedwon and closedate falls within the last seven days. Return deal name, amount, deal owner, and the associated company for each result.

Step 2: handle the zero case. If there are no closed-won deals for the week, skip the audio entirely and use Slack Send a Message to post a short, encouraging text note in #wins (something warm, human, and forward-looking about next week). Then stop.

Step 3: draft the script. Sort the deals by amount so the biggest wins come first. Write a two-to-three minute warm, celebratory narrative that names each rep, calls out the largest wins first, weaves in the company names and amounts, and adds a bit of personality. Keep it human, no jargon, no em dashes. Aim for something the team would enjoy hearing at all-hands or on their commute.

Step 4: pick a voice. Call Cartesia List Voices and choose one that reads as friendly, upbeat, and celebratory. Prefer a voice tagged with a warm or energetic style if available. Cache the chosen voice id.

Step 5: synthesize the audio. Send the script to Cartesia Text to Speech (Bytes) with output_format set to mp3, the friendly voice id, and the current Cartesia-Version header. Docs: https://docs.cartesia.ai/api-reference/tts/bytes.

Step 6: post it. Use Slack Upload a File to upload the mp3 into the #wins channel with a short celebratory caption that includes the total closed-won amount and the number of deals so anyone scanning can hit play.

Additional information

What does this prompt do?
  • Pulls every closed-won HubSpot deal from the last seven days along with the rep, company, and amount.
  • Drafts a warm two-to-three minute narrative that names each rep and calls out the biggest wins first.
  • Turns that script into an mp3 using a friendly Cartesia voice and posts the audio file into your Slack #wins channel every Friday at 4pm.
  • If there were zero closed-won deals that week, sends a short encouraging text message in #wins instead.
What do I need to use this?
  • A HubSpot login with access to your deal pipeline
  • A Slack workspace with a #wins channel (or any channel of your choice)
  • A Cartesia account for the friendly voice synthesis
How can I customize it?
  • Change the day and time (say, Monday morning instead of Friday afternoon) or switch to biweekly.
  • Point it at a different Slack channel or add a second channel for leadership.
  • Swap in a different Cartesia voice, change the tone of the script, or extend it to include lost-deal reflections.

Frequently asked questions

What happens on a week with zero closed-won deals?
The workflow skips the audio and posts a short, encouraging text note in your #wins channel instead, so the ritual keeps going without a hollow victory lap.
Can we use a channel other than #wins?
Yes. Any Slack channel your account can post into works, and you can even fan the recap out to more than one channel if you want leadership to hear it too.
Will this work on HubSpot Free?
Yes, as long as your account can view deals and their closedate and dealstage fields, the search step works on every HubSpot tier.
How long is the audio?
About two to three minutes, tuned to sit comfortably at the top of an all-hands or on a commute. Longer weeks with more deals stretch it a little; quieter weeks come in shorter.
Can we pick a different voice or change the vibe?
Absolutely. Cartesia has a full library of voices, and you can tell the workflow which one to prefer or ask it to change the tone (more MC energy, more calm host, etc.).
