Keyboard shortcuts for moving through your specialists
You can now move through your specialists without touching the mouse. Command+Shift+Up and Command+Shift+Down step through the specialists and conversations in the left sidebar, and whatever you land on opens right away. Command+Shift+Delete snoozes the one on screen, and Enter folds or unfolds a specialist's conversations. On Windows, use Ctrl in place of Command.
Snoozing also asks less of you. The confirmation is shorter, Enter accepts it, and a new Don't ask again option skips it from then on, on the web and in the mobile app.
How it works
- Stepping follows the sidebar. The keys move through the rows you can see, in your order, and skip the conversations of a folded specialist. They work with your cursor in the message box too.
- Snoozing moves you on. Snooze the specialist or conversation on screen and the next one opens, so you can clear a list one row at a time.
- One press, one step. Opening a conversation marks it read, so holding a key down moves once rather than reading everything it passes.
- Don't ask again is per device. The choice is saved on the browser or phone where you made it. On the web, Command+Z still takes a snooze back.
- Enter keeps its usual job. It folds a specialist only where it would do nothing else, so it never sends a draft by accident.
Also shipped
- The message box takes focus whenever a new conversation opens, so you can start typing straight away.
- On mobile, connection trouble now shows as one toast above the tab bar, with a Retry, instead of a red card in the list.
- An unread conversation on a resource now counts once, on the Specialists tab, rather than on both Specialists and Activity.
