Changelog
One-click OAuth, plus Zoho CRM, Dropbox, Airtable, and more
At launch, every OAuth integration required a workspace admin to register an app with the provider and paste in its credentials. That's still right for teams that want tokens issued to an app they own, but it's a lot of setup for one connection. As of March 26, General Input can supply the OAuth app itself, so members connect in one click on the provider's own consent screen, starting with QuickBooks.
How it works
- Three tiers. Every OAuth connection uses, in order: the member's own registered app, the workspace's app, then a General Input managed app. An app you bring always wins over ours.
- Encrypted. Managed client secrets are stored encrypted, like every other credential.
- Setup guides as PDFs. Every bring-your-own setup page can be downloaded as a branded PDF for whoever administers that system.
New integrations
Zoho CRM, Dropbox, Box, Airtable, Calendly, Cal.com, and QuickBooks, each reading your account's structure (folders, bases, event types) as soon as you connect. Shopify moved from an API key to OAuth.
